Malpractice Lawsuits are cases that are filed to have compensation from damages received from medical errors. Medical Malpractice is a negligent act committed by a health care provider such as a hospital or doctor in which the treatment done to the patient is under the standard practice of the medical profession and causes damage, injury, or death. A health care provider such as a nurse or doctor is considered as negligent when he/she broke the Hippocratic Oath, which states they will provide medical treatment to their patients with the highest standards as much as situation permits and keep secrets known only by them and the patient. Regulations and ground for medical malpractice vary by country and US States.
