Asbestos Mesothelioma is a lethal type of cancer
that involves mesothelium, the lining that encloses and protects most of the
body’s internal organs. The most common and widely known cause of mesothelioma
cancer is exposure to asbestos, a product commonly used in fire retardant
materials, building materials, brake pads, and many more industrial related
materials. Common symptoms of asbestos mesothelioma include cough, chest pain,
abdominal swelling, fatigue, and shortness of breath. It takes a long time for
symptoms to appear, this usually takes 10-20 years depending on the amount and
time of exposure. image courtesy of wikipedia.org
